Terms of Use & Acceptable Use

These terms govern access to and use of Soni API (“the Service”), operated by Soniverse GmbH, Lindenstraße 3, 91361 Pinzberg, Germany (“we”, “us”). By registering for an API key or calling the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Soni API provides developer utility endpoints for online link checks, on-page SEO checks, and GEO (generative-engine readiness) checks, together with related documentation and an account area for API-key management. Features, rate limits, and availability may change. The Service is offered in English. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, access to the free tier is subject to the configured rate limits and these terms.

2. Accounts and API keys

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

You are solely responsible for the URLs and data you submit and for how you use the results.

4. Results and no reliance

Link-check, SEO-check, and GEO-check results are best-effort technical observations of third-party resources at a point in time. Do not rely on them as legal, compliance, security, accessibility, SEO-ranking, citation predictions, or safety-critical advice. Third-party sites may change, block fetches, redirect, or serve different content to different clients.

5. As-is; limitation of warranty

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use the Service. We are not responsible for third-party website content, redirects, malware, tracking, or the privacy or copyright practices of target sites. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or other liability that cannot be limited under German law.

7. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy notice.

8. Changes

We may update these terms when the Service changes. The version published on this page applies from the stated update date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Courts at our registered seat have jurisdiction where legally permissible; mandatory consumer venues remain unaffected.
